Bccthis for Gmail

Noté 4 sur 5 étoiles

I don't want to criticize this add-on for not doing what I *hoped* it might do (which is maybe not even possible), but in case this or another developer is interested, here is what I was hoping for:

When I send emails I'd often like to include some text that they can't see, but which I can. For instance if I sent a snippet of file data, I might want to send the SQL statement that I used to extract the data, but which would confuse/annoy/alarm a non-technical user. So what I usually do is send the email then forward it to myself with the extra code. I was hoping this add-on might save me a step.

It doesn't work for me because: a) the BCC is not in the same thread as the base email, b) It doesn't accept the "name+suffix@gmail.com" form that I use to email notes to myself, and c) (the deal-breaker) it doesn't work with the "previous" version of gmail (I dislike the new format/colours and find it very slow on my wireless connection).

I'm going to give it 4-stars "on faith" so as not to knock its status, but I haven't actually given it a good workout since the basic function is not what I was looking for.
