Where are you?, is the burning question in the next wave of social networking and it is also relevant in our everyday lives from social interactions with friends: "Meet me for coffee?", to on-line deliveries to our homes.
Sharing location information, however, is not so easy and relies on traditional street address and or GPS co-ordinates. Both are clumsy, complicated and difficult to communicate and remember especially when you have to type them into devices like smartphones and personal navigation units. It would be a lot easier to say: "Meet me at !Bob.Mobi or deliver to !Bob.Home.
At Waytag we are doing just that! We are making it easy for you to update and share you location by linking your location to your own personal and unique waytag name. You create it, you manage it and you choose with who, when and how you want to share your waytag information. Even when you move your waytag name stays the same. All you have to do is update your location information. You can even share your waytag using email, text, Facebook or Twitter and your friends can use TomTom, Navigon or Google maps to find you.
Create a Mobile waytag and we’ll link it to your device so that you can update your waytag on the move. Find businesses, products, services, events and other places of interest using the “Find near me” option. Business waytags can be created on www.waytag.com
