Because the add-on doesnt work with the latest update, I just complained and asked how to get my subscriptions. The developer answered quickly, which is the reason for my 5 star rating. Here is the best way to do it: 1. download pale moon browser 2. Install bamboo app on this browser 3. Find your subscriptions. You have to enable that hidden files are also visible. Then you go to User/AppData/Local/Thunderbird/Profiles/then some weird stuf.default/bamboodata 4. Set this file as a standard for the newly installed bamboo reader 5. Open bamboo and export the file as opml. 6. Now you can import this file with every rss-reader.
It's a petty that the reader doesnt work as a thunderbird add-on anymore.

I cannot find a folder named bamboodata in the cache directory of Thunderbird, as the developer said there are my saved articles

Gibt es hier jemanden, der bereit und fähig wäre, den Bamboo Feed Reader an Thunderbird 60ff. anzupassen? Ich bin davon überzeugt, ich wäre nicht der einzige Nutzer, der sich darüber sehr freuen würde.

Best podcast and RSS reader for Firefox. I want still to use it with Thunderbird, but the central button of mouse don't open the article with external browser. It's the only one problem for this great addon.

Bamboo is really a great feed reader, but not compatible with latest version of Firefox, when can we expect to get a newer version of Bamboo ?

Use Thunderbird to run Bamboo.
Define "about:bamboo" in start page (Tools - Options)

This used to be my RSS reader but after it was discontinued, I switched to Inoreader (website) + Inoreader Companion (add-on) and couldn't be happier. With a couple of adjustments, it's basically the same experience for me, plus this setup is available for all browsers. You just configure the add-on's icon so that it takes you straight to the website and you're good to go.

Simply the best. More comfortable than Feedly. Light, however extremely efficient. Offers much more features and options for free. Wide array of 'user friendliness' customisation options. Hope the developer will adress compatibility with FF 57. The pop-up feature is highly useful. Works with FF 56.

Le meilleur additif RSS pour Firefox. J`espère qu'il est possible de traduire cet extension pour les versions 57 et suivantes.
