I'm using Thunderbird 140.9, and the export only works for xlsx. Unfortunately, because Thunderbird doesn't allow for the export of a single event as an .ics file like Outlook, I installed this add-on in the hopes that it would work...
It work's quite well with TB 140.9 and beyond. If it doesn't work for you please send me a detailed bugreport via email.

Exactly what I am looking for ! Simple and efficient!
Single difficulty is to find where the launch button is located (top right of the window)
You can customize the toolbar. Or use the context menu of folders.

I have years of previous events and only need to import future events into my phone. CalendarSearchExport lets me do this! Thank you Günter!
