Sadly, Thunderbird does not provide a calendar API, therefore this extension has to rely on an experimental API.
Experimental APIs always require full access to Thunderbird, as they integrate directly into the application's code.
To allow quick adaptation to future API changes, the implementation is kept minimal — only fetching calendars and events, with no event editing.
The year view will remain a view-only tool until a stable and official calendar API exists.
