I would love to give this add-on a good review, but I can't get it to work properly with Thunderbird 140.7.0esr. I have set the option to use BCC rather than the To line, but when I click to create a new message, none of the addresses are imported. Placing the cursor in the BCC box and clicking to add selected addresses at the top of the compose window also does nothing. If I change the settings to use the To line, it seems to work as described. I can use work-arounds (selecting all To addresses and moving them to BCC) that way, so the add-on is at least partly functional, but it would be cool to see the BCC option work out of the box. Thanks for your work on this one, it'll be a help ... with a few adjustments.

Replying to Helge: I didn't find any clues in the Debug function, but then did a full reboot of the laptop (Acer running Win 11), and when it came back up, the BCC option worked. Changing the rating to five stars!

I just updated and tested it on 140.7.0esr, it works for me with the BCC enabled (my default too). On what system are you running it? You could go to tools -> Addon and Themes -> select Extensions on the left -> click the cogwheel button (settings) -> Debug Addons -> click the Inspect button on RepSel -> check if there are errors in the console tab or the like. Thanks for reporting!

I can't use it. Where is the "Write" button?

It may be called differently, e.g., "New Message", depending on your language settings and Thunderbird version. On the main menu, select the messages you would like to respond to and then press the button you would usually use to compose a new message.

Thanks a lot for saving this great plugin!
Could you maybe please enhance it such that it takes the repy-to address instead of the from address (as the original plugin did)? This would be super-duper-hyper helpful!

Works! Was a pain finding a solution so grateful to have found this!

Check out the limited instructions. Note that you select the emails to which you want to reply in one window then press the RepSel button to collect the email addresses. Then you create your reply in a new Compose window. Then — *without selecting the BCC field* — click the RepSel button and the extension will insert the target email addresses into BCC.

Obviously I clicked the BCC field first and thought the RepSel extension wasn't working. But when I clicked elsewhere, the extension populated BCC as documented.
