- No english localization
- Does not work in table view
- If a thread contains subthreads, their messages may be mixed up, as the add-on only sorts messages by date and ignores relationships.

Hi, thanks for the feedback.

I wanted to post an update because these points have been addressed in the newer versions of TN Thread Order.

The current version, TN Thread Order 1.0.2, includes English and Portuguese (Brazil) localization.

Table View is now supported as well. In Table View, the add-on intentionally keeps Thunderbird's native/default appearance intact and only applies the projection logic required for the newest-first thread behavior.

Thread relationship handling has also been improved since 1.0.0. The add-on no longer depends only on message dates for threaded conversations. It now uses message relationship information, including Message-ID / References-aware relationship resolution, to better preserve subthread structure while projecting the newest relevant message as the visible/main thread row.

Additional improvements were also made around collapsed-thread command handling, context menu actions, row action menu actions, direct row buttons, read/unread and star state refresh, tag state refresh, and preview pane synchronization.

Version 1.0.2 has been submitted and is available from the Thunderbird Add-ons page for this extension.
