Effective, helpful and easy to use. All that would make it better, besides compatibility with Tbird 3, is an option to crawl the body of an email (to get addresses contained in re-forwards that don't show up in the currently supported fields).
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.8.0).To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
