My Reviews

Memory Fox

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Using FF beta 9 in Win XP, Memory Fox 7.4 seems to be doing a great job. FF is hogging just as much memory as ever according to the Windows Task Manager, but it doesn't bog down or crash.

Memory Fox 7.5.3 does nothing for me.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (7.4.1-signed).

CuteMenus - Crystal SVG

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

This worked with 4.0b1 but stopped working when I upgraded to 4.0b2.

Compatibility reporter won't let me submit a revised report.

FireFTP

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

@John Ranger: Not necessarily because 4.0 is beta, but because the 4.0 code is significantly different from the 3.x code, and therefore some extensions (such as this one) will have to be rewritten.

FireFTP

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This has long been one of my favorite extensions.

I am now using FF 4.0 beta, and it is the best Firefox ever. I would love to get rid of clunky old 3.6.x, but I would have to find a different--and probably lesser--ftp client.

Please update FireFtp to work with FF 4.x so that users can continue to have the best ftp client along with the best web browser. Thanks.

NetVideoHunter

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is one of the finest pieces of software I have ever used, bar none.

I struggled with half a dozen video "grabbers" that didn't live up to expectations before I was fortunate enough to find this one.

Net Video Hunter is simple and unobtrusive, and it has successfully grabbed every video I have tried. It even captures the filenames correctly--something that some others fail to do.

Five stars! I'd give it more if I could.

@Syn: The version offered on the netvideohunter.com home page is an old one that won't load in FF 3.6.6. But the current version available on this page does work.
