My Reviews
MinimizeToTray revived
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Installed on the latest Thunderbird (version 52.6.0) and it still works despite the website showing that this version is not compatible.
Send Later
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Does it's job wonderfully. Has all the options I need and more. Integrates well with other useful extensions. Full marks.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (6.3.4).Mail Merge
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Excellent in every way - functionality, ease of use and documentation.
Been using it with Send Later extension once every month to send 500 to 700 customized emails for more than a year (non-profit purpose) and it has never failed, never crashed. It's actually a pleasure to see it working - merging, queuing and sending emails one by one in a very smooth fashion.
Big thanks to the developer for putting in the time and effort to develop and maintain it. The world is a better place because of people like you.
This extension deserves 10 stars out of 5.
Resubmit
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thanks for creating this useful extension. It allows me to auto-respond to certain types of emails. The native Auto-Reply does not work for me because I have to respond to another email-id quoting the original email.
Some Ideas for improvement:
After automatically resubmitting, say 10 emails, there are 10 little sending progress dialog boxes and I have to click on "Done" button on each of them to get rid of them. Each of them also takes up space on the taskbar and clutters it. Please make this sending progress dialog-box go away automatically and/or provide an option to not show this dialog at all. Until then, I plan to use AutoHotkey script with SetTimer to close these little dialog boxes.
In the Filter Actions dialog box, deselecting "Send Later (Template)" also deselects "Send Now (Template)". You can either select none of them or both of them - not just one of them.
Also, I set to DELETE the original email after "Resubmit - Send Now (Message + Template)" which moves it to the TRASH folder. It would be nice to be able to just expunge it, ie, delete the original email permanently bypassing the TRASH folder. It's risky but I know what I'm doing.
Another improvement idea would be to move the automatically "resubmitted" (message + template) to its own custom folder instead of the regular "Sent" folder thus automatically separating it from other regular emails.
Thanks.
