PLEASE update this GREAT add-on to work with Quantum, there is no alternative :( I will gladly donate once this is updated!

This add-on has received no updates since at least August 2016. It doesn't work with FF48 or FF49.
RIP smoothwheel, you will be missed.

FF 43 won't let me use SmoothWheel because it's not signed.

I managed to activate it by going to about:config and changing "xpinstall.signatures.required" to "false". This backdoor won't work with FF44 though.
