QuickTranslate DeepL is a lightweight and efficient extension designed for Thunderbird users (version 128 and above) who want to break down language barriers without leaving their inbox.
Key features:
Configuration: Requires a DeepL API key (free or Pro version). Simply configure it in the extension options after installation.
Google Translate can be used as a backup (enabled in the extension preferences).
Key features:
- One-click translation: Use the icon in the message toolbar to instantly translate content.
- Original/Translated mode: Click the button again to instantly return to the source text.
- Customisation: Choose your target language (French, English, German, Spanish, Italian) and adjust the loading opacity to your liking.
- Privacy respected: The module only sends your data to the DeepL API when you manually activate it.
