My Reviews

Stylish - Custom themes for any website

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I believe stylish is at its best when one learns to make their own styles, often using other styles to borrow ideas. :) For anyone wanting an updated version for compatibility, sheesh, the install.rdf's maxversion is easily modified in all xpi files with just something like winrar to open it and any plain text editor. Impatience is no reason to taint a product's star-score.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.11).

QuickNote

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

It does as it claims to do. :) Ctrl + F7 works fine for me (XP). Do note (referencing the review below mine) that any extension's shortcut can fail to function if another extension uses the same keys, which is always a possibility.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.6.0.5).

This plugin works perfectly, except the default https leads me to a failed page (no server at https://www.newzleecher.com if I try to access that home page). Since I learned of this after I installed the plugin, editing out the s from https wouldn't register in firefox even after closing the browser and restarting it. However, starting Firefox without the plugin its folder, then moving the edited xml file back in works perfectly. It would also possibly be helpful for to inform people they can easily change the values in the xml file. For example, changing the "min" value to 1 (megabyte) will filter out most of the falsely named malware (which are only a few kilobytes big).. The editing is simple enough in any text editor, but the fact I had to do that for this to get results with this plugin is responsible for one star of my five star rating. Overall, thank you for making this as it saved me a bit of time trying to make it myself (and your job is a bit neater than mine would have been), :)
