Extra Folder Columns
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Nice addons,
I partially agree with this comment:
>This addon looks cool, and it partly true, but very hard to use because of mixed unit
>of folder size. It's disgusting to see MB and KB in the same column.
I would prefer to know the KB data as well as the MB. The mixed unit folder size issue could be lessened if the addon allowed for customization: the ability to check and
uncheck which columns will be displayed.
Extension List Dumper
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Thanks for a great addon, it saves me lots of time, after I upgrade, and I no longer bother with addon 'send links'.
Before I found the Extension List Dumper (ELD), I emailed page links to addons, but now, when I find a notable addon I email an ELD to everyone with a note about the latest addition; this way friends and family can pick and choose, from a vetted list, and add-on at their own pace.
I have a locked-down (NoScript, Adblock, Better Privacy...) Firefox installed as my default browser, but I also use a few portable versions of Firefox, and before ELD, I would always find I had forgotten at least one addon, when I needed it. ELD makes it easy to quickly setup my browsers after an upgrade.
I always keep two dumps on my thumb drive, to keep people from stealing it. The first list is a complete list: it includes addons I only install when I need them (Firebug, Greasemonkey, etc.), and the second list: De Facto addon essentials, which I share with friends and family.
Thanks again, for the ELD.
