My Reviews
Firefox Super Search - People Search & Web Search Toolbar
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
When something is too good to be true, 9/10 times it usually is. This is the best description for this add-on. There are countless search engines but the vast majority of these are geared to US searches. Of the many searches I attempted, one was to find the cemetery of a deceased man that was buried somewhere in Ontario, Canada. After entering all the particular criteria into the Deceased People Search (a specific search on Super Search) and submitting it to the "SS Death Indexes (i) and (ii)" for the search; it brought back zero results for ON, Canada... but it gave countless entries for USA. I gave up after chasing ghost results. 2nd search was to find a person living in ON Canada; again... of all the search engines, it could not find mine. I wasn't able to find particulars of myself in the super search.
Broaden the result searches to include missing countries. Why can't one remove the search engines they don't want? Also, the supposed help at Skipease is useless; why direct people there when help is not there?
What a waste of time. If you are reading my comments, don't take my word for it.. try yourself. Big disappointment.
WorldIP - Geo Add-on with Security Features
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Much better than flag fox which I use to use. World IP takes the time to change your IP if shows incorrectly (my IP showed US, contacted and World IP changed it to Canada).
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1.6).Password Exporter
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
recently a fault arose with new FireFox add-ons and had to reinstall. Just before I did this, I exported my email passwords and installed Password Exporter onto my other computer. Good thing I did as right after this FF froze.
Started FireFox up and loaded password page sites and with Password Exporter I didn't have to jog my forgetful brain for passwords.
P.E. has been a lifesaver for me and I'm sure it will be for you too.
