Бесполезный аддон. Он только создает видимость освобождения памяти, реального же освобождения не происходит. Это можно проверить с помощью команды about:memory.

Подтверждением тому являются посты пользователей, которые автор аддона проигнорировал, видимо понимая, что это всего лишь "трюки", а не реальное освобождение памяти:

Фактически аддон выполняет тот же "трюк", что и сворачивание Firefox с включенным параметром config.trim_on_minimize в about:config.

Pointless addon. It only creates the appearance of free memory, free memory is a real no. You can check this by about:memory.

Confirmed by the positions of people who ignored by the addon, apparently knowing that this is just "tricks" rather than a real free memory:

In fact, the addon does the same "trick", that minimize Firefox with the enabled option config.trim_on_minimize in about:config.
