My Reviews
Lightning
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I love my Lightning and would be lost without it and have set it to view a month at a time. However, in the latest version (1.9.1) the forward and backward arrows in this "month view" window are greyed out, so I can no longer easily move forward (or back) a month or more. I am using Thunderbird 17.0.7.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars
I have been looking for an add-on that will do this and am very glad to have it. However, the editing window needs to be three or four times as long before it will be really useful to me; I need to be able to see the whole subject line to make editing easy. I tried to drag the edge of the dialog box to achieve this, but it was a set size.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Second only to QuickFolders this is the add-on that I have most use. And now I find that it is not available on TB5.
I don't understand why TB developers do not build in the possibility of of modifying the Subject line of received emails. It was a feature in Outlook long ago, but Outlook had some significant problems.
I get many emails that arrive with inadequate subjects, which I need to change to help me discover important emails more quickly.
At present I have to go through the "Edit message as new" just to change the Subject line. And I don't need to change anything else.
Anyway, this gets top marks for usefulness from me.

I use this more than any add-on, but it is not easy to use. I mainly want to change the subject line, so would like this to be the top line displayed and would like the text box to be be much longer. Thanx. Geoffrey
