In Thunderbird and the SeaMonkey e-mail client there is a bug which bypasses the proxy settings configured via a proxy auto-configuration (PAC) script for the very first connection to a mail server after startup. ReloadPAC provides a workaround for this problem.
So if you use a SSH tunnel, the TOR privacy network or another SOCKS server configured via proxy auto-configuration, use this extension for your safety until the bug is fixed in Thunderbird and SeaMonkey!
