Excellent! I use it since I upgraded to TB3 (I see it is officially endorsed in the release notes) and it works well, doing its job without getting in the way, fixing the early bugs I patched by hand.
One suggestion: instead of ???, display a simple dash -
I used to manually edit the JS file but I am getting lazy...
FYI, I see these ??? in the size of NNTP folders.

@Colin Guthrie: many thanks for providing this patch, having all virtual folders with the same name was lame, now we have the best of two worlds! :)

This add-on is a must have, but I reduced my rating because of the lack of update for the release version and for the problem with virtual folder names. I solved these now, but they are tripping for the non-technical people.

@Genton_m: I can confirm it works on a French version of TB.
