Any 2012 update of this great addon?

Nice, simple plug-in displays the current projected electoral vote count in the status bar.
Polling data from all major non-partisan state polls is averaged on a rolling 7-day period.
Electoral-vote.com was 92-98% accurate in 2004 (using 3 different algorithms),and the current algorithm has been revised based on lessons learned then and in the 2006 election.
Contrary to the comment below, all Zogby and FoxNews state polls are included in the data (Fox does not actually conduct polls, they contract Rasmussen). The Quinnipiac University Polling Institute is highly respected pollster, and their results are frequently cited in all major news outlets – hardly a “hack university poll”.
Highly recommended for political news junkies!

Uses weighted averages of polls, smoothing out poll inaccuracies. Basis for numbers are on the hosting website.
It is rumored that this was one of the electoral college predictors that encouraged John to abandon his campaign.

Nice attempt with this add-on, however the accuracy of the polls used appear suspect. Nowhere is Zogby or Foxnews, two of the most accurate pollsters, used. But instead uses obsecure hack university polls. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls/ is by far more accurate. BTW, due to the Bradley effect, if Barry does not have a 8-10 point lead by Nov 4th, he's toast!
