This is the most important addon for firefox.

As seems to happen so often these days, another own bite the dust, or rather the corporate ass. Firefox is going the way of Google and selling out.

It seems that OptimizeGoogle is a newer Version of this Addon (CustomizeGoogle) and regulary updated on the sourceforge homepage: sourceforge.net/projects/optimizegoogle

Added : 'Query Suggestions' in Sticky Preferences.
Bugfix: [Web -> "Add links to bookmark" -> "Firefox"] is now working again.
Update: 'Google Suggest' should now be working again. 'Google Suggest' is exactly the same as 'Query Suggestions', except that the former is working on all web search pages on all Google domains.

Note:
Enabling both 'Google Suggest' and 'Query Suggestions' at the same time is not needed. That should however not make any difference to the user experience.

If you don't want suggestions at all and disable 'Query Suggestions' at google.com/preferences or in 'Sticky Preferences'. Then don't forget to disable the 'Google Suggest' option in CustomizeGoogle.
