Только установленное , ничего непонятно - уже денег просит. Зачем это мне, если я даже не пойму, нужно оно мне или нет?
Just installed It requires money. Why do I need it, if I don't know is it useful to me or not?

5 étoiles pour la version avant le passage à TB68.1.2 64b car pour l'instant l'addon n'est pas compatible.
Pour moi, cet addon devrait être intégré dans TB comme Lightning. Il est absolument indispensable pour utiliser efficacement TB.

Unfortunately not compatible with tb 68 at the moment

Works perfectly. I love Thunderbird and all of the options available. Far better then that proprietary other mail app. This addressbook tab add-on solved my last customization. Simply installed, then right clicked on the tool bar, then dragged the AddressTab icon to the location I wanted. Really simple and works perfectly.

Addon works in Thunderbird 60.7.2 (64-bit), but displays Address Book in a larger font than Address Book when displayed in sidebar and larger than folder pane, message pane or toolbar text. The font size doesn't match the rest of Thunderbird.

Great add-on. Unfortunately it's not compatible with TT DeepDark theme.

Very good, should be part of the basic build. I believe the reason some users think it does not work is that the button this add-on creates is blank in some themes (e.g. TT DeepDark). You have to click around in the area where a button should be or hover your cursor around until the "AddressBook in new tab" help box appears. Other than that frustrating bug, this is a solid winner.

Perfekt, funktioniert auch mit der neuesten Version. Mit dem Sync - Addon klappt sogar die Abstimmung mit dem Smartphone bzw. Android.
Danke !!

Very good, should be standard functionality. However on TB60 the icon looks a bit out of place. By adjusting the css rule to the following: list-style-image: url("chrome://messenger/skin/icons/address.svg"); you get the default icon from TB60

Very useful add-on. Mail has a tab, Lightning Calendar has a tab, Address book needs a tab, and now it has. This should really be a standard feature. I used to use pastismans AddressBookTab but this broke with Thunderbird 60. So glad there was an alternative.

Does not work for TB 52.7.0 (64-bit) LinuxMint, no button in "customize toolbar"
Tested. There is a button. Right click next to the main tabs.

This is a great idea, but even though it was just updated about 6 weeks ago, it already won't install in TB 53. Not much sense in using an Addon that may or may not be usable each time there's a version update. I edited the Install.rdf file so I could get a look at the Extension, and it definitely adds a convenience that is missing in TB. My personal preference is for the Contacts Sidebar extension, which is long out of date here on the Mozilla Addon site, though it can be downloaded from the authors web page. It is always visible from the main TB view, and it has several very useful functions beyond the obvious. It would be great if this addon had the option of being incorporated in the sidebar, but as I said, it is a nice convenience to have the Address Book handy on a tab as it is implemented here, instead of opening it each time in a separate window.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.2).Rated 4 out of 5 stars
As I wrote in the subject, I found thi addon useful for my job, unfortunately when I installed it using TB52I got a black area where the button area of addressbook tab/window is and so I could not make any choiche. Probably the style colorcss must be reconsidered. If the author wants I can send him a screeshot of what happens.

Hi Topoldo,
i am currently working on this "bug".
The problem is, that thunderbird uses its own css for certain elements and i am not able to change this in a way that all themes are supported.
I have now an idea how to solve this issue and I hope to fix it this or next week.
