SmoothWheel
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
This is a great addon, hence the 4 star rating.
However, it is completely broken in Firefox 21. I wound up uninstalling it.
On some pages it won't scroll at all, on other pages you have to position the curor at the extreme right of the screen directly over the scrollbars to scroll. It's now become a PITA to use and has lost much of it's functionality.
Why do we have to go through this kind of thing *every* time Mozilla upgrades FF?

I googled this problem, and found a solution in the Mozillazine forums, posted today:
http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=332634&start=4320
Down near the bottom of the page look at the post by "iHastr". It gives a link to a modded version of the extension.
I can confirm that it works in FF 6xxx in Ubuntu, and in FF 3xxx in Windows XP.

...at least for me.
I tried it on my husbands XP system, it did not work at all. In fact, it screwed things up so badly I wound up uninstalling the extension.
I have no idea how to even go about trying it on my Linux machines.
Back to square one...

I've used this for ages on multiple machines and OS's.
Today- forget it. I have 2 accounts set up, and I can't log in to either. It keeps rejecting the password.
It is not working on Firefox 3 under Windows XP, or on Firefox 6 under Ubuntu 10.04.
One of the posters suggested a fix, problem is- I mostly use Linux, so I don't think that fix will work for me.
This was great while it worked, I guess it's bye bye to this one as well.
Forecastfox Weather

Since ForecastBar just quit on me- I tried installing this.
You've got to be kidding. This is awful. It doesn't work at all.
The "options" are now web based, so you've got to enable all kinds of scripting in NoScript to be able to set any options. I did that. It still didn't work, and the only place I could enter for my "local" weather was New York, which is nearly 90 miles away. Even at that, it didn't load any weather, the icon just sat there spinning in the taskbar.
This add-on is completely unusable.
Forecastbar Enhanced
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I rated this 5 stars because I've been using it for years on all my computers, and it worked great. Until today, that is. It just quit on me. I have no radar, and my local conditions just read "0 F" on my taskbar.
It is the same on 2 different computers, one running XP, the other running Ubuntu Linux- so the issue is *not* on my end. I hope I don't have to go back to using ForecastFox. Been there, done that, didn't like it. Very poor add-on compared to ForecastBar.
If anybody has a fix for this please post it, otherwise I will be saying goodbye to the only weather add-on I ever really liked.
Toolbar Buttons

I recently added this on my laptop Firefox, so I could do simple things like move to the top/bottom of a page, enlarge text, or create a new tab without using the keyboard. It worked so well that I just added it to my 2 desktop machines as well. Great add-on! This is a keeper!
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.4.1.7).Image Zoom

I can't thank the author enough for this.
It's stable and I have no issues with it on FF 1.5.0.11 and FF 2.0.
If your eyes aren't what they used to be, you need to get this.
It makes browsing *so* much better. I use it every time I browse.
Thank you Jason!
