My Reviews
tasks & mails
Rated 4 out of 5 stars
Experimenting and very good concept BUT seems 'focus'when entering text is not limited to "Tasks and Mail" e.g. When using 'Nostalagy' (another VERY good add-on!) with default short cuts if 's' part of text then Nostalgy kicks in and not possible to capture required text. Work around has been to change 'defaults' of Nostalgy (i.e. now ctr - s) but not ideal. Am looking to enhance my GTD centric TB config using "Tasks & Mails" add-on and looking forward to next version! I concure with other feedback re need for more flexibility re placement of pane and other comments. Keep up the good work. BIG smiles from sunny South Africa :-)
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.1).Nokia Synchronization
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
So far so good! Desperately need alternative to Outlook (do NOT wish to abandon TB just so can sync with mobile devices!) which DOES work re sync with phone and pda but am confident that eventually there will be 'solutions' so as to enable TB + Lightning to 'sync' as required in the 'real world'. Also experimenting with Finchsync re iPAQ sync but hope next enhancement re Nokia Synchronization TB add on will be the calendar? Keep up the good work! Best regards from Nigel R in sunny South Africa
Argggggggggggg! Sorry but seems sync was still via OUTLOOK :-( Confusion as using a 'test' address book and has same entries which 'looked' ok but when trying with a new entry NokSync is NOT working on the 2760... So, ok with OUTLOOK but not TB... What next? KEEP SMILING :-)
Mikogo Extension
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
BRILLIANT! Although most sessions will be for Windows based use, would be FANTASTIC if Mikogo would run as NATIVE Linux app. Any plans on the roadmap for this development? Also, any idea why the 'rest' of the meeting developers will stay in business now Mikogo is here or maybe in the future Mikogo will not be free... Just a thought :-\
