I have used the add-on for the last 3 years, and had my own local categories for each of my event types... after the auto-update to v1 happened, all local events are gone! I still have the events on Google, but Google doesn't keep the categories that I assigned to all of my events locally... any solutions to retrieve the local info about past calendar events? I looked up the sqlite files in calendar-data folder but none has anything in them... they are all empty.
