CloseReviews for Modern Theme by tymcat
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
It is my favourite theme for its beautiful choice of unobtrusive colours, giving me a hint among other programs which one is actually on top.
I use dark mode only (LCARS color scheme was a logical choice for a futuristic system back in the 80/90ies).
I have to give two evaluations: it works fine in TB128.4.0esr on my iMac from 2017/Ventura 13.7.1
but it is "not compatible" with the same version on my Retina MBP 2012 on Sequoia 15.0 (via OCLP)
I had the "lightbulb issue" on this MBP in the mail quick filter buttons before, on MacOS 12 Monterey, where the "signal bulbs" were grey/dark green instead of orange/dark green.
Now I cannot install the theme at all.
Since Sequoia on a 12 year old CPU/GPU is the oddball here, I cannot give a bad mark for that ;-)
But maybe you can have a look into it, should you come across more users of the Open Core Legacy Patch. It may have to do with the old GPU+Metal.

The color of the "on-off lightbulb" of the search filter functions is now as it should be.
Hey tymcat, thank you so much for your detailled feedback, which was a great help.
I released version 1.3 with took care of that problem, alongside many other sections that I now designed.
Also the next version is already in the release progress.
The whole add on here on Thunderbird emerged from a user request on Firefox. Meaning for the start I just designed the barley minimum.
Now that actually some people are using the design, I put a lot more work into it and designed more and more... I hope you understand.
I really would appreciate if you could give the design a second chance.
