I would like to thank the author for stepping into the void when G-Contact-Sync was dropped without warning. I was planning on using this plugin but found a better way with TB 91.
In the address book select File > New > CardDAV Address Book
This linked directly with my Google Contacts account--you put in your G-Mail address.
You can then select that address book once it's installed and right click Properties and rename it.
There is also a "read only" option in the setup which I'll use when I provide this link to others.
Again, thanks for your efforts!
Thanks for Your review!
Yes, TB now supports the CardDAV protocol natively.
Which, however, wasn't an issue because there were other TB add-ons providing CardDAV support.
The problem is that Google itself doesn't fully support it: there is no support for contact groups (aka labels), although I admit I haven't tested recently.
So, my add-ons plans to provide full support, groups included.
Thanks,
MZ
