Contact Tabs enhances Thunderbird to give you quick access to all your contacts directly from Thunderbird's main window.
Contact Tabs adds a search field to Thunderbird's tool bar for looking up contacts using their email addresses, names, phone numbers, organization or adresses.
You can easily modify and delete a contact as well as move it to another address book.
Contact Tabs's search engine now powers email address completion in Thunderbird's composer (Feature development kindly sponsored by punkt.de GmbH): The completion list contains all contacts that match somewhere in the first name, lastname or email address.
LIMITATIONS:
Contact Tabs works only with Thunderbird address books. LDAP directories are not supported.
Contact Tabs supports all fields of Thunderbird's default address book as well as those added gContactSync when viewing a contact.
Contact Tabs' own editor will be deactivated when gContactSync is installed.
