Highlighter
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
Hi André, Thanks for your prompt reply! I reinstalled it and its now working! Sorry for the confusion. This extension is one of my favorites and I have been running it for several years, however, it recently quit working. I don't know why but its now working again. FWIW, I'm running Linux (OpenSUSE 13.2). Maybe another extension was conflicting with Highlighter but got fixed? Everything is fixed now so nothing to worry about!

I can't get this to work with the current version of Thunderbird which is 38.2.0. After installing Highlighter, there is nothing in the Format menu and the button is missing when customizing the tool bars. I loved this add-on when it worked!

Hello,
This is a very useful extension except for the arrows are pointing in the wrong direction. My inbox is sorted by date top to bottom. However, the right hand arrow, ->, goes to the previous message and the left hand arrow, <-, goes to the next message.

0.15.2 does not work for me. Basically, it doesn't do anything. The "Test these settings" doesn't do anything either. I had to go back to 0.15.0 from the authors website at:

0.15.0 works great!
Thanks Tjebbe for a fantastic add-on!

Nice extension, however, the user needs to be able to choose which accounts are included in the new message totals. Specifically, there needs to be a way to specify whether RSS Feeds and Newsgroups are included in the message count. For example, I have 12 active RSS News Feed accounts and the new mail indicator most always shows 30 - 50 new unread messages although I may not have any new emails since it is counting the all the new RSS Feed messages.
