Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant
Rated 1 out of 5 stars
Unless, you're like me and found this utter bullcrap on your machine and didn't notice until now. Fortunately, there's a way to remove this bloatware, but Microsoft shouldn't have even installed it in the first place.
What's worse is that I think the add-on made my Firefox much slower until after I uninstalled it. I was having all kinds of memory problems with Firefox that I wasn't having with Chrome or any other browser, including Internet Explorer. That's when I decided to remove some extensions that I didn't use anymore and then I noticed this. I "uninstalled" it and thought that was the end of it, but same problems and then I noticed IT DIDN'T UNINSTALL! That's when I Googled for a way and I find my Firefox is much more responsive now.
It's things like this that make me consider fully switching over to Linux instead of dual-booting...

This is invaluable to me because whenever my mom gets on the computer, she double clicks on Firefox and if it doesn't come up immediately, she'll sit there and click on it again and again and again until it finally pops up, which results in about 30 Firefox windows opened up. This will help her know that it's loading and she might not inadvertently open up so many Firefox windows! Thank you for this add-on!
