Pointless for TB 60+ !!!
TB 60 is out now, but where is the webextension version of Firetray or Firetray revived (or something working alike) for TB 60+? This is a very important TB add-on for Linux users!

Sorry folks, to me this add-on looks quite buggy. On my Linux Mint 16 MATE with an HP all-in-one network printer (6700 Premium) installed, this add-on prevents the tray icon of the HPLIP-GUI package from appearing at system's start up. With this add-on disabled, the mentioned icon does appear always.
Could you have a look at this please?
Or maybe, if you could add an adjustable(!) delay to make sure the HP-icon will load BEFORE this add-on and accordingly TB get loaded, please?

@ESE150
What you're asking for does exist already.
You can set all filetypes you want and you can also set a delay.
If you set a "*" (without the quotes!), all filetypes will disappear.

@ Szalgiris
Just like I said before: Great job! Thank you very much!
But the latest strings of new versions often remain untranslated because you're just a little bit too fast with your releases. ;)
Could you please wait a while until the latest translations are available for you on Babelzilla? So, you would be able to always use the latest version of those language files.
@ Polecat
This feature does exist already.
In the settings of this add-on, just make sure,
you've enabled the 3rd option in the settings tab and below this
you've added a * and, let's say a 5 seconds delay.

I like this add-on very much, as it is a great replacement for the old one.
Like other users have already posted, I also would like to see a hover effect to access the download and connection data.
But hey, it is still being developed and will have one or two features added in the upcoming versions for sure.
So, just be patient, folks! ;)
Since I don't think anymore, we will ever see a 2.0 of the old add-on, I thank Szalgiris very much for his work he has done so far, in only two weeks.
@ Rogério
Why would Mozilla officially verify this add-on, if it wasn't to be trusted?
You can absolutely trust this add-on.
Please, note the difference in counting.
This is NOT 2.0 of the old add-on!
This is 2.0.0 of the new add-on and most likely, it will have a higher number in a few days anyway.
Besides, this add-on is called "Download Status Bar".
The old one was called "Download Statusbar".

Just notifying you, Chris...
I found pages, where this add-on doesn't work (for FF10.0.2 on XP Home SP3):
http://www.avast.com/de-de/community#
Please try to translate one of the facebook comments there...
I guess, this failure has something to do with Javascript used for those comments, since other sections of that page can be translated actually.
...and here's the other page:
http://www.civinfo.com/
To reproduce this, go to 'Main Forum', to whatever thread you like, post something (no need to send it) and try to translate something from your posting (I sometimes do this to check if my postings do make sense). Sometimes the translation does work, so you may check it several times in the same posting to see it fail.
Not quite sure about what's going on there.
Oh, and sorry, but you'll have to register there to be able to post, guests cannot post, but maybe, you can check this in another forum as well, where you are registered already.

To start with some positive news, now, it's working for TB without getting stuck, i.e. using both the context menu and the icon.
The only thing that needs further development is the statusbar icon for TB, because it still doesn't turn grey when "active" is unchecked and the add-on still does translate, no matter if "active" is checked or unchecked.
... I'd like to add a suggestion:
How about making the add-on available as well, if you reply to an inbox message or write your own message, just to have a translation into the opposite direction than in an inbox message?
I mean, if you write a message in a foreign language it might be quite handy sometimes if, directly in TB,
you are able to enter or copy a missing word in your own language into the add-on and find a translation for it.
Do you think, adding such an option might be possible in an upcoming version of this add-on?

I'm terribly sorry to tell you, but now it's vice versa.
It's ok with the mentioned option unchecked, but not with the checked one,
where the background gets stuck now.

...referring to using the context menu.
Meanwhile, I think I know, what's wrong.
The effect I described before seems to have something to do with the "active" option in the menu of statusbar icon.
If that option is checked, everything is ok.
If it's unchecked, the background gets stuck.
The problem is, without looking at the according menu you can't tell the checked state from the unchecked one, because the icon doesn't turn grey in TB, as it does in FF, and because translations are performed (as for 1.4.2 and above) in TB even with this "active" option unchecked.

Just tried 1.4.2 on TB (same system as in my previous comment).
It translates words and phrases, and the tanslation window does close now, but after that, there's still the transparent screen with all those "victory gestures".
Therefore, in the same message, I cannot perform another translation without closing and opening the entire message again.
For FF, great as always, though.
EDIT:
Using the statusbar icon, everything is ok (just a little bit uncomfortable, since it's far away on a widescreen).
That's why I tried the context menu.
Please, try this:
Mark a word or text and right-click it.
Use the context option to translate.
Then close the popup (doesn't matter, if you use the x button or if you just click somewhere on the screen).
Now, the popup is gone, but not its background with those "victory gestures" (sorry, don't know what you call this officially).
I forgot to mention, did you notice already, if you check or uncheck the option "active" in the menu of the statusbar icon, nothing is happening in TB. Seems to work in FF only.

This extension (referring to 1.3) claims to be working for both FF and TB, but it doesn't at all for TB, no matter, what I use, Bing or Google.
I'm on XP Home SP3 with (currently) FF10 and TB10 installed.
In TB it doesn't translate (checked with an inbox message). Instead of this, it's asking me to enter text in order to be translated and often the translation window doesn't close. Then, to get this window closed, I have to close the entire message instead.
These are heavy failures, so sorry folks, I can't give more than one star.

I just thought, this theme is OK, but sorry it isn´t, either.
If you wish to add a page to your bookmarks and open the folder drop-down menu, the right edge of that window is cut away if you run your machine with a resolution of 800x600.
The only theme being able to support 800x600 seems to be the ugly default theme of FF5.
