Saved Password Editor by Daniel Dawson
190 users
Adds the ability to create and edit entries in the password manager.
Collector's Note With this extension you can add/edit/remove login passwords for sites that do not trigger the automatic Firefox password manager. Makes an excellent team with Password Exporter extension.
Password Exporter by Justin Scott (fligtar), Jorge Villalobos
79 users
This add-on allows you to export your saved passwords and disabled login hosts using XML or CSV files that can be imported later.
Note: This add-on won't work in Firefox 57. It may eventually if the APIs to access passwords are implemented.
Collector's Note Install this, and coupled with Saved Password Editor, you basically have an enhanced password manager in Firefox - one that doesn't involve other applications/sites. With Password Exporter and Saved Password Editor you can add, edit, remove, import and export passwords in Firefox.
Mozilla Archive Format, with MHT and Faithful Save by Christopher Ottley, Paolo Amadini
41 users
— Open web pages saved with Internet Explorer or other browsers (MHT)
— Save many tabs, video and audio reliably, in a single ZIP file (MAFF)
— Return to the original site you saved a page from, and more!
Collector's Note I'm using this mainly to be able to save a webpage in one single file instead of the classical multiple files/folder method.
Save Images by Lumox
25 users
Save Images saves the images from the current tab page, from the cache, to a specified location, with either the images original file name or a file name that you specify.
Collector's Note When you visit a site with more than one image/thumbnail displayed on it and you want to grab those pictures, it becomes annoying to do it manually. Save Images can automate this process for you, and believe me, it has almost all the options and tweaks you could think of or make use of. Now this is one complete extension, fellows.
RefControl by James Abbatiello
18 users
Control what gets sent as the HTTP Referer on a per-site basis.
Collector's Note I didn't use this extension before, but because recently some sites forbid "hotlinking" (that is accessing things from another site than their own), I have to. To bypass that, you need to remove or modify your referrer (which tells sites where you're coming from). This extension is simple and effective; plus, you can save or export the list of sites for which you tweaked the referrer, making it easy to restore previous settings.
Restartless Restart by Erik Vold
13 users
This 15KB restartless add-on will add a "File" -> "Restart" menu item and a ctrl/cmd + alt + r hotkey to restart Firefox or Seamonkey.
Collector's Note Sometimes you may want to restart Firefox, but without losing the opened tabs. Of course, you can restore the previous session, but this is easier. All this with the help of this tiny and resource friendly extension.
