আমি ২০১১ থেকে এটি ব্যবহার করছি। অভিন্ন বানান রীতি যোগ করলে আরও ভালো হতো।

সার্বিকভাবে বলতে গেলে এডঅনটি চমৎকার হয়েছে!! তবে কিছু বানান এখনো ভুল ধরতে পারে না। আর সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে কিছু বানানে পরিবর্তন হয়েছে। এটা মাথায় রেখে আপডেট প্রয়োজন!

বহুত কাজের জিনিস এই এড অন টি কিন্তু বর্তমান ফায়ারফক্স (firefox-4 to 8) ভার্সন গুলোতে কাজ করে না..
প্লিজ দয়া করে কোন উপায় থাকলে বলুন। খুব বিপদে আছি বানান নিয়ে...

খুব শীঘ্রই ০.০৮ আপডেট করা হবে। আপাতত অঙ্কুরের শিশির ২০১২ লাইভ লিনাক্স ডিভিডি তে ফায়ারফক্সের সাথে পাওয়া যাচ্ছে। ডিডিডি অঙ্কুরের অফিস হতে সংগ্রহ করা যাবে।

এড-অন যেহেতু বাংলার জন্য সেহেতু রিভিউ বাংলাতেই লিখলাম।

এড-অনটি ভুল বানান চিহ্নিত করে এবং শুদ্ধ শব্দের প্রস্তাব করে। আমার ফায়ারফক্স ৩.৬.১৬ ভার্সনে চমৎকার কাজ করছে। এ নিয়ে একটি টপিকও দিয়েছি এখানে। http://forum.projanmo.com/topic24995.html

ফায়ারফক্স ৪.০ এর ফাইনাল ভার্সনে এড-অনটি নাকি কাজ করে না। কাজ করলে এর জনপ্রিয়তা আরও বাড়তো।

আরও একটি কথা, ভুল শব্দের 'ভ' হ্রষ্ব উ-কার এবং 'ভ' দীর্ঘ ঊ-কার এর পার্থক্য ধরতে পারেনা এড-অনটি। ভুল শব্দটি চিহ্নিত করার ক্ষমতা থাকা উচিত এই এড-অনটির।

Great stuff!!! However, I think we can safely remove "(Bangladesh)" from the name and just call it "Bangla/Bengali".

I think spelling-wise, the two standard variants of Bangla language are more or less similar. In fact, the common spelling variants such as ভাল versus ভালো are found in both India and Bangladesh. Maintaining one single dictionary is a lot more effective because unlike the two major variants of English (Commonwealth and US), the difference in Bangla has more to do with choice of words than with the spelling of the words chosen.

Didn't find a "Bengali Dictionary(bn-IN)" for India, though... why don't you just copy-paste and make it?

চমৎকার একটা জিনিস বানিয়েছেন আপনারা, এজন্য অঙ্কুর সফটের সবাইকে ধন্যবাদ জানাচ্ছি।
কিছু সমস্যা আমার চোখে ধরা পড়েছে- এখানে কিছু সঠিক বানানকে ভুল দেখাচ্ছে আবার কিছু ভুল বানানকে সঠিক দেখাচ্ছে। আশাকরি এই বাগগুলো দূর করবেন। শুধু ফায়ারফক্সের ভিতরে সিমাবদ্ধ না রেখে অন্যান্য এক্সপ্লোরারে আপনাদের অগ্রগামিতা কামনা করি।
জাকির বেপারী, মাদ্রিদ, স্পেন।

gr8 work...
however it should be called Bangla Dictionary as the constitution of Bangladesh says the state language is Bangla NOT Bengali.
