I will update my review when the developer replies to my emails about what file contains the data for this app. I copied my profile to a new computer but there are no stored paths anymore. So they must be stored somewhere other than within the profile folder.
Thank you for our exchanges offline. As I explained, the data is saved in Thunderbird using TB API which does not specify how and where the data is saved.
After some time researching the info and checking it, I learned that the data is stored in the Thunderbird profile in a file named data.sqlite.
This file is located in subdirectories of: path-to-your-profile/storage/default
As there are a couple files named data.sqlite in the profile, you should check their dates in order to find the right one, and open them with notepad. Find the one that contains email addresses followed by matching folder paths. This should be the file with your data.
Normally there is no reason to use this file by itself. It is inside the profile files and should move when you move your profile. I did check that I could move my profile from one drive to another and keep Autofile working.
However if you reinstall Autofile, this may not be the case because the Autofile folder name may be reset. You would need to put the old data.sqlite in the new installation in your profile. This is because the directory that contains Autofile data in your profile will likely have a new name (such as "moz-extension+++92f3d....").
If you do not find a solution, you can use autoregister in the Autofile window. This will reregister all folders you wish to register the adresses and it is done automatically.
I know my answer is not 100% perfect but I am trying to help you as best as I can.
Thank you.
