I want to find an extension / plugin that allows me to mouse over or highlight (text, image, graphic) and search a choice of engines: Google, Gmaps, Froogle, Amazon, eBay, IMDB, Urban Dictionary, GImages, etc. It would be sweet if I could just use the list of engines I've added to Firefox's search-bar-box as I can in Firefox with "Context Search" plugin!
Until then this is a rather limited application.

simple and useful (this feature should be integrated in the next TB release!)

Module très pratique. Fonctionne bien avec thunderbird 5

Excellent addon. But if you'd add the ability to search the selected text with various configurable search engines that would be great. Thank you.

Great addon!
Nevertheless, it always open my searches in my default browser instead of thunderbrowse. I have checked my preferences twice, but it doesn't seem to work.
Could you check it?

Very nice. Would you consider allowing SS to define multiple search engines? That way it could encompass dictionary, news, shopping, etc. The user could do the site configuration.

A Newsgroup post will often refer to something that I then want to search for on the web. With this extension it's just select & right-click and it's done! Perfect.

Everybody is creating add-ons to search on the web. Why not search in TB folders self?
The actual search function is not very usable.
