Please do that compatibility with Thunderbird mail client.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have uploaded a new version that supports Thunderbird. It will appear on the add-on's page after it has been reviewed, but you can download it right away from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-plugin-disabler/versions/0.3. Please let me know if it works.
