About this Add-on
Image Auto(Re)Size gives you simple and flexible control over inline images while composing messages in Thunderbird.
Main features:
* Resize images by height or width directly in the message.
* Use the built-in size presets or create and edit your own.
* Make images smaller and enlarge them again up to their original size.
* Select one image to process only that image, or leave everything unselected to process all images.
* Automatically resize newly inserted images.
* Compress JPEG files separately without changing their displayed dimensions.
* Choose the JPEG compression quality.
* Compress JPEGs manually, after changing their display size, or automatically before sending.
* PNG, GIF and WebP images are not re-encoded.
* English and Russian interface.
All image processing is performed locally inside Thunderbird. The extension does not collect analytics, transmit messages, upload images, or connect to external servers.
