How it works
Gentle wellness nudges in compose windows (new message, reply, forward)
Analysis runs on your device using keyword and tone heuristics — no email body is sent to our servers for nudges
Works offline with bundled detection rules; when you’re online, updated heuristics (stress keywords and related rules) can download automatically in the background
Optional CalmSignal account to sync anonymized wellness metadata to your dashboard (stress band, emotion label, character count — not message text)
Enable or pause anytime from add-on options
Privacy CalmSignal does not upload the text of your emails. Network access is limited to api.calmsignal.app for optional account features, heuristics updates, and anonymized metadata when you choose to connect an account.
