Thanks so much for trying to fix this. Unfortuantely, it still does not work properly. Version 0.3.11 with Thunderbird 3.0.4 shrinks the picture whether you say yes or no. I had it installed to ask each time.
Back to ShrinkPic for me again.

Although version 0.2.4 appears to work on Thunderbird 3 there is a fatal flaw. If you choose not to automatically resize, you get the question when sending, say no but it still resizes. Even after disabling this addon it still resizes.
I have had to uninstall it and go back to ShrinkPic, which works perfectly, until this addon can be fixed.

This later version now works for me on Thunderbird 3.0.1. While I was waiting for it to be fixed, I found ShrinkPic from http://www.onthegosoft.com/shrink_pic.htm?referer=shrinkpic
This addresses all the requests for features to be included in Auto Resize JPEG but of course it's not a Thunderbird add-on. Hopefully Auto Resize will incorporate some of these requests soon.

Potentially this is a 5 star add-on, but some problems exist with the latest version that prevents it from being useful. I was really glad to see this update for Thunderbird 3 having been very impressed with the version that worked on Thunderbird 2. I installed the add-on but have a couple of problems. An icon appears on the Composition toolbar but it does not seem to do anything.
I can configure the Options for this add-on and it works, the pictures I attach are reduced to the size specified. However, I cannot over ride this action - I am sure I could on an earlier version. It is not practical to keep changing the options every time I want to send a picture at original size. I am sure that icon is supposed to handle this but it does nothing. If that were fixed, it would be 5 star.
The authors web site is in German so it is not possible for me to ask a question directly.

Please, please make available a version that will work on Thunderbird 3.0. This application is excellent and so useful but won't work on the latest Thunderbird.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.1.1).To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
