Great add-on. It was Cardbook that made me decide for Thunderbird.
Two wishes:
- a better cooperation with the Thunderbird Conversations add-on
- a possibility to decide about the font size. The fonts appear very small on my Linux computer.
Thanks to the developer.

A function I am longing for in Cardbook
If you right click on the senders address in an incoming email, you can "add to cardbook" when it is a new address. This is great.
If you already have the address, you can edit the address. This is also great.
But if you have the address in two maps (address books), you can only edit the address in the first map (alphabetically ordered), not the second. That's a pity.
If you would like to add an existing address to a second map(address book), that is not possible because you only find 'edit'. That is also a pity.
Greatful for the great tool that should replace the standard addressbook in Thunderbird.

A very good add-on wich made me moving to Thunderbird. One thing I miss is an easy way to insert new addresses. You cannot insert them at once, the way you get them written in emails from clients. But it has to be done, first name, second name, street, place, postcode, ....., everyting one by one. That is time consuming. How to find a way to insert the address at once?

Another thing I miss, is the possibility to store addresses directly on a different location, e.g a cloud. This in order to synchronize with other computers. Synchronizing with other local computers does not function now. The files get corrupted, probably because the prefs.js file also needs to be synchronized at the same time. But this again causes problems with other add-ons. Maybe cardbook needs an own prefs.js file.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (33.4).not sure to have correctly understood : of course it is possible to store contacts on a cloud... in CardBook, just add a remote address book... (if you have others questions : cardbook@cardbook.icu)

Very usefull add-on. Should be part of Thunderbird. What I miss is a trash to restore accidentally deleted addresses. And I miss a back-up function. Could also be export to .vcf of all address books at once. These functions would make it realy professional.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (33.4).in next version, it would possible to undo/redo contacts modifications ;O)

The addon gets better and better. Great possibilities. The possibility to work with categories was the thing that did move me towards thunderbird, after 20 years of MS Outlook. :-)
And good support of Philippe. A good manual would help.
