I've been using this for at least a couple of years and love it! It seems to find a definition for even very obscure words, long out of use words, and words very specific to limited population, isolated to a small sub-subsection of industry or profession. After getting the serious definition I want, it can be... amusing to check out the definition offered in the Urban Dictionary and all in a single click.

It seems that I'm a bit of an odd duck, a throwback to a bygone era. Why? Because I still care about accuracy, spelling, grammar, punctuation, correcting typos, and composition. OneLook greatly simplifies the process of spell checking when my spell checker can't cut it. To be sure I'm using the right word or a word correctly, it's indispensable. The number of separate individual references returned on a search depends on the number of dictionaries that list the word, but I've received over 100 references on more common words.
