Notary

I also find this little extension very useful. I work in customer support for a genealogy program and find the little notes I can add to messages very handy for keeping track of fixes I have suggested. I am also the bug coordinator for the program so I can keep notes on which bug report applies to a message about a confirmed bug.
I just found out that this will work with TBird 2.0.0.9. All I had to do was the following:
1. Open the .xpi file in a Winzip file manager (I use Izarc)
2. Extract the Install.rdf file to your hard drive
3. Edit the Install.rdf file as follows
Find the maxversion entry
Change the 1.0+ to 3.0
Save the install.rdf
Add the Install.rdf file to the .xpi to replace the existing copy.
Close the winzip program
Open TBird 2
Go to Tools > Add ons
Find Notary in the list and select it.
Use the Install Button
Proceed through the install steps
Restart Tbird to activate Notary.
