It was great while it lasted, but it seems unlikely this addon will be ported to the new Firefox API, which means it will never ever work again in any new version of Firefox.
Which is why I created a new addon from scratch that basically reloads a failed tab after x seconds. Just search for MAKE A MERRY TRY AGAIN

I love this addon and used it many years, but since FF 48 every time the message '"Unable to load TryAgain. The error could not be displayed; please consult the Error Console"' appears. I hoped that the last update repairs it, but not

I dont think the extension has been updated in a while but netflix and other streaming sites view it as a proxy and will block you from using their service.

This add-on worked quite well and had some nice features. Unfortunately, as Firefox changed and no one maintained it, it no longer works.
Lucky for anyone reading this review, the "ErrorZilla Plus" add-on is a replacement for the core "try again" functionality. I had a hard time finding any other add-on that did the same, but that is it!

Confirming what the other two said, it doesn't work anymore.

Ever since I updated to Firefox 48, whenever I reach the point in which try again should act, instead of the automatic reload, an error site says: "Unable to load TryAgain. The error could not be displayed; please consult the Error Console". Could you please check why is this happening?

This does exactly what it says. It reloads the page, when the error page displays. Very configurable, nothing unintuitive, very permissive, nothing obtrusive or overcomplicated.
That "Tab Mix Plus" guy forgot to mention his so-called essential addon does everything except reload tabs on error.

Please improve it, everything ok and working perfectly. But its just stuck when a webpage ask for "resend"
some add-ons work for auto reload but it would not stop when the page successfully load.
Is it possible to get both feature with single add-ons.

I can't "resend" after click "try again"

This is hands-down the best add-on out there. If you have a laptop and your internet runs on a mobile broadband device like mine does, then your internet connection is probably pretty unstable.
My internet usually ends up showing me page errors, load errors, and connection errors about 50% of the time. However, with this add-on, It will simply continuously reload it until it works and goes through. Now I can step away from my laptop and not worry about having to come back to an error message in my browser!

This addon is really useful when a webpage has trouble being loaded. Typical example: you launch Firefox with your multiple home pages but you are first redirected to a login page for the wifi network you decided to use. By the time you complete the form, your webpages are loaded again until the process is completed!

Really useful addon if using Tor where pages might take a few attempts to open, saves a lot of F5'in.

I really like this addon but there is one problem: I have a very unreliable wifi connection which can go down unexpectedly and remain so for some time. This addon tries to reload webpages repeatedly in the meanwhile, and after some time Firefox performance decreases (eventually it comes to a halt). I have to kill the process and start it again. The issue is resolved if I uninstall the addon.
Is it some memory leak issue?
Thanks for the feedback. Some resources are indeed kept in memory (in case the page repeatedly fails to load), but these are cleaned up in the background.
Could you please open a new issue on the support site, so I can further diagnose the problem with you?

Please don't use Facebook as the home page for your addons; I can't post an issue without getting an account, and I refuse to get a Facebook account (it's not safe; Facebook downloads spyware onto your system). Mozilla offers sites for the home pages of addons that aren't a risk to your system.
This user has a previous review of this add-on.The Facebook page serves exclusively as a fan page, as we find the add-on page and support pages sufficient. Since you're looking to post an issue, please visit the support page (http://getsatisfaction.com/tryagain/products/tryagain_tryagain_for_firefox). You can find this either directly through the add-on information or on the right side of this page. I'm sorry to see this misunderstanding being reflected in the add-on's rating.

"ultimate page load tab controller"
someone please combine the functionality of these add ons to work together in one add on. have them share the same queue list between all of them. i like all of these add ons but they don't always play nicely and cooperate with each other. the low bandwidth dial up firefox community will love you all for it.
i am contacting all of the below add on developers for there input and assistance for the "ultimate page load tab controller" add on.

Good Job !
I made the same kind of extension, but yours is really effective :-)
Just a little bug to report.
When you click in the "downforeveryoneorjustme", you'll be redirected in this : "http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/http:/www.sitedown.com"
It'll be this instead : "http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/http://www.sitedown.com" (look, a slash is missing)
I'm in ff4b8.
Thank you
Xéfir Destiny
Thanks for reporting this! The bug has been resolved in version 3.4.5.

This so-called semi-automatic, rather!
If you want to call is automatic, no need to press the Retry button can also be connected to the internet again.
Nowhere does TryAgain suggest that it monitors your internet connection. TryAgain retries loading the page for any variety of reasons, for instance when a website is temporarily down, in a redirect loop or the connection simply times out.
It appears by the 1-star reviews you have placed on this and other add-ons that you are simply trying to promote your own. I find that rather disgusting. If you have a specific problem, however, please feel free to report it on the support site (http://getsatisfaction.com/tryagain) so that I can work towards a resolution.
