Well, I want this to work, but can't get through the install. Maybe its conflicting with one or more other add-ons on my machine?
After downloading the extension, then using the Add-On Install button as instructed, the Add-On screen reports the extension is incompatible with TB3.0.4, but will be updated on restart. Restart button in Thunderbird Add-Ons screen closes Thunderbird but does not restart it. Relaunch of Thunderbird then results in no change in Thunderbrowse Add-On message or status.

Hm... I've seen this issue before. There are three known variations of this bug:
1) The download was not complete - sometime during download/install, a file is malformed or incomplete. The solution is to uninstall the current instance and redownload the addon
2) Thunderbird could not successfully unpack the addon - this is caused when several other files are being updated or installed/uninstalled and a file could not be written to (normally extensions.rdf). The solution is to uninstall, restart and see if it is gone. If it isn't, restart again. If it is still there after two restarts, you'll have to manually edit (while Thunderbird is completely closed [check task manager]) your extensions.rdf or just delete a few key files (xpti.dat, extensions.rdf and compreg.dat).
3) The wizard is hidden (this is extremely rare) - Sometimes the wizard will not show up as a window. I have no idea why this happens, but it just means that the wizard is hiding under the main thunderbird window. The solution is to minimize the main window and see if the wizard is behind it.
