CloseReview for Tab Wheel Scroll by Silk
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I'm real bad with having more or up to 30 even 40 tabs open while doing research. Lots of times I'll begin to research not knowing exactly what I need from it. I'll say to myself "keep it open, you can always close it later" may need to go back to it for a reference or help in finding whats needed. And when the moment arrives I attempt to go back and find the tab where the site is waiting for me. I started clicking each tab attempting to locate the site. My biggest problem was and still is sometimes that as I go through the tabs I get distracted and caught up with other sites with relevance to my objective that may or may not have anything to do with my current quest. When that happens the site I was so eagerly searching for was no longer in my sights because I'd forgotten the purpose of the search. Oh it comes back to me but that could take hours and in the meantime I might as well keep reading, could come in handy sometime if I'm ever chased by wild wolves in Transylvania. The tabs were and still are my choice of drug, just can't kick the "open in new tab" habit. Well "Tab Wheel Scroll" happens to make tab habit easier to live with.I point my mouse over the dozens and dozens of tabs at the top of the browser and begin to scroll like pro without distractions or frustration. Mouse moves over the tab, it opens, I scan it quickly and move on to the next. Who'da thunk it, something so simple helping people to stay focused and on course, its the most useful extension I've had the pleasure of exploiting. Wished I had a tool like this while studying for my me focused while studying through college.
