not working for me :( TB 128.4.3. esr

Be careful. Make full backup before archiving !
It works if your email provider archive is compatible with your Thunderbird archive setting.
Interesting is that Thunderbird vanilla archive handles it without issue by ignoring sub-folders but this add-on does not at least in my case.
Things get weird if email provider archive service doesn't support sub-folders and you got enabled "archive by years" or/and "Keep folder structure" in Thunderbird.
In my case it created folder structure in duplicate folder called archive with empty sub-folders but placed all messages into real archive root despite having option "archive by years" or/and "Keep folder structure" activated in Thunderbird settings.
Workaround: set Thunderbird archive to custom folder eg. called "~archive" or turn off "archive by years" and "Keep folder structure".

Great add-on. At the moment you have the choice between archiving manually or on start-up. On start-up doesn't suit IMAP accounts so it would be good to have the option of archiving on a particular day(s) of the week at a specific time or even on a particular day of the month. Otherwise great.

Beware, not only the inbox is archived, but also the outbox. Admittedly, this was my fault for not thinking, but at least it should be possible to deactivate this function. Otherwise, the add-on does what it should at first glance. It would be nice if I didn't have to check four boxes and to enter the same time four times.

Can you also add additional filter support to specify selected folders for the archive action ? Instead of applying to all the emails under the email account.

Works fine on TB102 (Debian 11 / Gnome 3.38).

When it works, it's OK. Need to make sure your batches are "small". It still has TB's 4000 item limit, but can tell you 1000 has issues.
There is no way to re-start when the system locks up. Activity monitor was stuck 3 of 37 e-mails for 12+ hours

The addon is great and it does its job. It would be great to have a option exlude emails by folder or by tag or by another simple rule

Very good plugin but missing exclude options for folders to not_archive and more extended schedule.

If you are using Sieve you do no need this. You can do something like this :
```
require ["variables","date","fileinto","mailbox"];
# Extract date info
if currentdate :matches "year" "*" { set "year" "${1}"; }
if currentdate :matches "month" "*" { set "month" "${1}"; }
# Archive Dovecot mailing list items by year and month.
# Create folder when it does not exist.
if header :is "list-id" "dovecot.dovecot.org" {
fileinto :create "INBOX.Lists.${year}.${month}.dovecot";
}
```
And this will not loose your emails.

Mir gingen leider TAUSENDE Mails verloren!

How to set Autoarchive for subfolder inbox
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (1.0.0.3).Subfolders of inbox should be archived, too.
If it does not work post a bug at https://github.com/Brummolix/AutoarchiveReloaded/issues with some more details

More easy to use than "Awesome Auto archive", especialy when trying to archive all folders under your account. It would gain a star if checking network itself rather asking with a dialog box (checking a web service for example). Simple, efficient.

Also Finger weg von einem Add-On ohne Einstellungen!
Dieses Add-On sollte man sperren.
