Multifox
Rated 5 out of 5 stars
I am thrilled to see that the option in now there to choose between per window and tabbed profiles. It's nice to see there are still developers who understand that one size doesn't always fit all, and choice is good.
Now using 3.1.0 with no issues at all. Thanks.

Been using Multifox for over 4 years and could not live online without it.
That said, I tried v3.0 after upping my Firefox to 34.0.5, and found the new tabbed behaviour very confusing.
I have become accustomed to additional profiles opening in their own windows, rather than reloading the current tab, and I like to keep my separate profiles in separate windows, with all tabs in that window opening in the respective profile.
I found it extremely difficult to manage Multifox the way I am used to in 3.0, and have reverted to 2.2.1 - so far, I haven't noticed any issues with FF34.
I realize that the new behaviour may be preferable to many users, but many of us prefer the previous behaviour of automatically keeping separate profiles in separate windows. Perhaps an option could be added to allow the users to choose their preferred behaviour - until then, I will stick with the older version.

Both 3.1 and 3.1a10 cause Firefox to hang on a regular basis in some sort of endless loop javascript error that produces an eternal sequence of empty dialogue boxes sporadically alternating with error windows, until Firefox is shut down through the task manager.
I've gone back to version 3.1a9 and haven't had any problem with it.

Mickey, thanks for the tip - it works when using the extension with Firefox as well, btw.
Olivier, for those who might be uncomfortable using Mickey's workaround, please consider offering a version of the add-on with only one dictionary (preferably "moderne") as it is cumbersome to have all of them in the right-click menu, especially when using other language dictionaries.

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. Works perfectly in 3.6 - the older version of this add-on does not.
This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2.1.4).To create your own collections, you must have a Mozilla Add-ons account.
