Dorando has given 2 codes that worked in 2012, I define the export shortcut in the old profile, ran it so I had a settings file. In the new profile I defined the import shortcut and ran it against the settings file. I should test it to verify that it still works !
Is it simple to add these 2 keys combinations and their codings in the standard distributed extension ? Does their codes cause a security problem ?
As this wastes 2 keys combinations I was proposing to control them with buttons iun the interface instead of short-cuts keys.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (2016.2).

If you wish to create buttons, you'll need to use a different extension. I know that MenuWizard will allow you to make new menu items, but I don't know if there's one for buttons.

I would suggest using the forum I linked in the description if you have questions on how to do things. This place is just for reviews.

Can you add in your version an import/export function to copy the keyconfig key setting from a FF profile to an other ?
In Feb. 2012 Dorando has given to me the code for 2 shortcut keys page 148 of the forum :

Is it possible to integrate this in the extension with buttons instead by defining short-cuts ? This will be easier to import the settings in the new profile without starting by copying a long key.

Perhaps at some later date. I can't do much now.

However, you can do it yourself. Open your prefs.js in one profile, and find the keyconfig settings, and copy them over to the prefs.js in the other profile.

Or you can use other extensions like FEBE or OPIE. which can copy over the preferences of any extension.

Thanks for giving us a signed version of Dorando extension.
Is the present version compatible with the new (still experimental and only for few peoples) developments of FF using several process at the same time or do we have to delay update of FF ?

I have tested it in multi-process Firefox, and it works. However, it's possible you may have to use different JavaScript for your custom functions, due to the increased separation between the browser and the content.
