About this Add-on
This addon is intended to easily lookup rfc documents through the addressbar. To effectively use it, you should add the 'rfc' keyword in the 'Manage search providers' dialog, as it's not as useful from the dropdown.
After the keyword is added, you can quickly go to rfc documents by typing for instance "rfc http" or "rfc 2617" in your addressbar.
The benefit over the 'RFC search plugin' is that it links to HTML versions of the RFC's. This plugin works based on a simple keyword list, which link directly to rfcs. For any keywords that's not recognized, a fallback is used (google I'm feeling lucky).
The script was quickly created in about 2 hours, after always having to jump through hoops finding the correct document. (I deal with RFC's a lot!). Any suggestions / additions are welcome on the github page:
