Review for mailmindr by Gregor Hlawacek
Rated 3 out of 5 stars
Does what it should do and is of great help.
However, it makes Thunderbird more or less unusable. Uses 100% of one of my cores. Disabling the extension immediatly resolve the problem. But with mailmindr running thunderbird becomes unusable.
5 Stars but as it doesn't work only 3
Thunderbird: 91.6.2
3 accounts, many folders and subfolders
ArchLinux System
Other addons: *cloud, AllowHTML Temp, AutoarchiveReloaded, CardBook, DKIM Verifier, Google-4Tb-Sync, MailMerge, Provider für CalDAV und CArddav, Provider für Exchange Active sync, TBsync
Hi Gregor,
thanks for taking the time to review the extension.
You're correct that there's a performance issue with many folders and emails. This is also known by the Thunderbird team, and we're working on a solution.
The system information you provided is also super helpful (thanks again), as I haven't tested mailmindr on Arch Linux yet.
If you're interested in becoming a tester for the performance issue please reach out to hello @ mailmindr.net
Have a good day and sorry for the inconvenience,
Arnd.
